State Department of Diaspora Affairs Engages MmaraU Students

The State Department of Diaspora Affairs, one of the two departments within the Ministry of Foreign and Diaspora Affairs, engaged students from Maasai Mara University in discussions about opportunities available in the diaspora, including Kazi Majuu, internships, diplomacy, and other prospects. The delegation was led by Dr. David Katiambo, Director of Skills and Expertise; Felix M. Mbuvi, Second Secretary for Liaison and Partnerships; and Jose Kiarie, Third Secretary.
In her welcoming remarks, Vice-Chancellor Peninah Aloo-Obudho emphasized that Maasai Mara University is the first to partner with the State Department of Diaspora Affairs, expressing gratitude for the department’s openness to collaborate with students and provide them with various opportunities in the diaspora.
The highly engaging event was attended by Prof. Francis Mburu, the acting Deputy Vice Chancellor for Research,Innovation, and Outreach; Dean of Students Mr. Mohamed A. Adan: Dr. Edward Katei, Director Public Relations, Marketing and Linkages; Dr. Wesley Nyaigoti, Director of Endowment; senior faculty members, staff, and students.
