Collaboration Visit by Hubei University of Economics, China

"Exchanging mechanisms in Tourism Management, Carbon Economics, and Data Science, and promoted student/faculty exchanges"

Hubei University of Economics, China, visited Maasai Mara University. The President Prof. FANG Jie, led the delegation that included Prof. DAI Huayong, Dean of Academic Affairs, Prof. MAO Yan, Dean, School of Tourism and Hospitality Management, and Ms.PING Yi, Associate Dean, Frostburg Institute of Carbon Economics and Data Science.
The team visited to discuss the specifics of establishing a Confucius Institute in partnership, including site construction, teacher deployment, and curriculum implementation with Maasai Mara University. They also explored exchange mechanisms in Tourism Management, Carbon Economics, and Data Science, and promoted student/faculty exchanges.
While welcoming the delegation, Vice Chancellor Prof. Peninah Aloo-Obudho appreciated the kind gesture of collaboration and reiterated her full support for the partnership to succeed.
The event was also attended by Deputy Vice-Chancellor (ASA) Professor Godrick Bulitia and Deputy Vice-Chancellor (A,F&S) Professor James Ole Nampushi, along with other senior faculty and staff members.
