We are excited to welcome our first -year students admitted through KUCCPS as they report for the beginning of their academic journey.
From different counties and diverse backgrounds, the students have joined one family – a place of knowledge, discovery, growth and lifelong friendships, network and realization dreams.
The exercise was smooth and well organised as confirmed by a section of interviewed parents and students. “ You have definitely exceeded my expectation, it is not yet noon and my child is already settled in her hostel room, “ a parent from the coast.
Deputy Registrar in Charge of Admission Mr. Jonathan Sunkuyia, attributed this success to carefully planning, coordination, team work, dedication and digitalization of the admission process and use of technology.
“ I am very impressed not only by the smooth flow of events and admission process but also the environment. I like my hostel room. My perception of the University has really changed, it is not the “wild” as I had envisioned but a true civilization, “ an admitted student from Bungoma.
“ The staff here were superb. Parents have been treated well and assisted throughout the exercise. It was fast and inclusive. I am going back home satisfied that my child is in safe hands and conducive environment,” said a parent.
The University expects over 4,000 students placed through KUCCPS.
