Department of Humanities and Public Administration to Host Public Lecture on Ethnicity and Land Politics in Kenya

The Department of Humanities and Public Administration, Maasai Mara University, will host a Public Lecture on Tuesday, 17th February 2026, at the University Hall, from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM.
The lecture will be delivered by Prof. Peter Kagwanja, a distinguished scholar and public intellectual, under the theme:
“Ethnicity and Land Politics in Kenya: Challenges and Opportunities.”
The public lecture aims to provide an in-depth examination of the historical and contemporary dimensions of ethnicity and land politics in Kenya, highlighting key challenges while exploring opportunities for inclusive governance, social cohesion, and sustainable development.
Staff, students, researchers, and members of the public are invited to attend and engage in this important academic discourse.
