Purpose of the Bootcamp; Strengthening the University Innovation Ecosystem

The Maasai Mara University Innovation Ecosystem Schools Bootcamp is a flagship institutional programme designed to empower students and staff across all academic schools to transform ideas into practical, high-impact solutions. Anchored in the University’s mandate of teaching, research, innovation, and community engagement, the bootcamp cultivates a culture of creativity, interdisciplinary collaboration, and entrepreneurial thinking through hands-on training in design thinking, ideation, innovation management, and enterprise development. The programme supports the translation and commercialization of research outputs and student-led innovations, strengthens partnerships with industry, government, and the community, and promotes solutions aligned with national development priorities and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), positioning Maasai Mara University as a leading regional hub for knowledge-driven innovation and sustainable development.
