The Department of Language, Linguistics, and Culture will host the launch of David Ole Munke’s Beautiful Burdens.
David ole Munke is a Lecturer at the School of Business and Economics, Maasai Mara University, and a celebrated author whose works honor Maasai language and culture. He holds advanced degrees in Human Resource Development and Business Management and is pursuing a PhD in Human Resource Management at JKUAT.
His publications include The Maasai Language: An Introduction, approved by KICD for teaching in schools, as well as several acclaimed story collections such as Ties that Bind, Stories from Maasai Land, and his latest, Beautiful Burdens.
