The meeting explored and identified research on environmental issues across the Mau Ecosystem and exchange programs among others for further discussions that would escalate into an MOU.

The Vice Chancellor Prof. P. Aloo-Obudho hosted Prof. Kariuki Kirigia from University of Toronto for a consultative meeting on possible areas of collaboration between Maasai Mara University and University of Toronto.
Prof. Kariuki is an associate Professor with a joint appointment in the School of Environment and the African Studies Centre.
