The Alabama State University delegation was led by Dr. Denise Davis-Maye and included Dr. Ashley Cochran and Kai Mumpfield. The Maasai Mara University team comprised Director of Public Relations, Marketing and Linkages, Dr. Edward Kateiya; Chair of Department, Social Sciences, Dr. Zeddy Lemein; and Dr. Benjamin Karume.

Maasai Mara University hosted a delegation from Alabama State University for strategic discussions aimed at strengthening collaboration in academic excellence, research, innovation, and internationalization.
The partnership marks a significant milestone in promoting knowledge exchange in social work through scholarships, joint academic programmes, collaborative research initiatives, staff and student mobility, capacity building, and cross-cultural learning opportunities. The collaboration will also focus on emerging issues, pedagogy, and contemporary trends in social work education and practice.
