COLLABORATION WITH CHINESE MISSION , UNEP

The University hosted a high-level collaboration meeting with a team from the Chinese Mission , UNEP that comprised of Zhou Juan, Le Le and Li Haoyuaa.
The engagement aimed at exploring joint collaboration opportunities in environmental management, urban planning, water, pollution, noise and soil management, climate change and biodiversity, and ecological a production among others.
The two institutions shared about their history, background and their future and agreed to work together to build research capacity, harness indigenous knowledge in conservation, exchange of staff and students and connect cultural links.
The meeting marked a significant step toward international academic cooperation, knowledge exchange, and joint efforts.
Maasai Mara University was represented by Acting DVC Research innovation and outreach Prof. Francis Mburu, Director Public Relations, Marketing and Linkages (PRM&L), Dr. Edward Kateiya, Registrar Strategy Mr. Samueel Partoip, Deputy Registrar Resource Mobilisation Mr. Lankeu Reson.
