In a move to enhance transparency, accountability, and service delivery, Maasai Mara University in partnership with the Commission on Administrative Justice (CAJ) hosted a two-day training on Public Complaints Management.
The workshop brought together university leadership, including the Deputy Vice-Chancellor in charge of Research, Innovation, and Outreach, Prof. Francis Mburu, alongside Deans, Directors, and various members of staff. The training focused on equipping participants with practical knowledge and tools for handling complaints effectively and fairly within the institution.
“This initiative aligns with our ongoing commitment to foster a culture of integrity and responsiveness,” Prof. Mburu noted. “We aim to strengthen our internal systems to better serve students, staff, and the broader community.”
The training, facilitated by experts from the Commission on Administrative Justice, highlighted key principles of administrative justice, complaint resolution procedures, and the importance of citizen-centered service.
