Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Research\, Innovation and Outreach). In his remarks\, he encouraged continued collaboration between academia and industry\, stressing the importance of practical exposure in shaping competent media professionals.The MFC Department\, led by Dr. Denis Ikachoi\, was commended for organizing such impactful engagements that bridge classroom learning with real world experience.This mentorship program marks another step forward in preparing students to thrive in the ever-evolving media industry								\n				\n					\n		\n				\n			\n						\n				\n									Maasai Mara University\, through the Media\, Film and Communication (MFC) Department\, in partnership with the Media Council of Kenya (MCK)\, successfully hosted a Mentorship Program for Communication Students.The MCK team\, led by Joseph Mecha\, engaged students in an insightful session focusing on media ethics\, highlighting key principles from the Code of Conduct for Media Practice and emphasizing the importance of professionalism in today’s dynamic media landscape.
