Conference 2021

The 21st Century has experienced dynamic global challenges that have significantly threatened humanity and her ecosystem. These challenges range from climate change, global terrorism, political upheavals, slumping economies, ravaged societal moral fabrics, education systems and more recently health pandemics. There have been setbacks on the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), and national blueprints such as The Vision 2030 and The Big 4 Agenda in Kenya. It is therefore pertinent to have a forum to collate, interrogate and disseminate information relevant to existing and emerging global challenges.

To overcome the contemporary and emerging global challenges, relevant and insightful research and consequent intellectual property rights (IPRs) are needed. A robust and holistic infrastructure is also required to strs with policies and practice. Infrastructural support for research and IPRs, especially in Low -and-Middle Income Countries (LMICs) is quite vulnerable and requires cross -examining and resolution. This conference is expected to provide a nexus for transforming global challenges into societal, environmental, technological and economical blueprints for national and global preparedness; based on sound research and IPRs infrastructure.

Maasai Mara University will host this conference on Research and Innovation Infrastructural Preparedness for Emerging Global Challenges from 28th – 30th June, 2021.
