Books donation to Alupe University

Maasai Mara University through the coordination of the Library department donated an assortment of 292 books to Alupe University.

Books are the fountain of knowledge. Education as a key to success is embedded in books.  Maasai Mara University through the coordination of the Library department donated an assortment of 292 books to Alupe University. The acting University librarian , Mrs. Priscah Kirwa accompanied by other library staff  handed over the books to Alupe University Librarian Mr. Michael Wanyonyi in a function held in the University. The Books donation exercise was aimed at enhancing reading culture, promoting Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), and building strong inter institutional relationships. Books as temples of reading provoke creative ideas, harbor the foundation of knowledge and thoughtful innovations. “The books have come in handy at an opportune moment when we are revamping our library. I came in person and I am impressed by what I have seen and received,” said Mr. Wanyonyi. “ This exercise will enhance our relationship with Alupe University. We will continue to promote and enhance partnership with other institutions for education and development,” said Mrs. Kirwa.
