In a major milestone toward integrating real-world, industry-standard technology into our classrooms, the School of Tourism and Hospitality at Maasai Mara University has officially deployed the Biodux Property Management System (BioduxPMS).
The team from Vallinno Systems Ltd, led by CEO Mr. Timothy Ojo, paid a courtesy call on the Vice-Chancellor Prof. Peninah Aloo-Obudho and formally donated three (3) internet-enabled Point of Sale (POS) printers and accessories to power practical restaurant and front-desk simulations.
Valued at USD 80,000 (over KES 10.4 Million) across a 5-year renewable, cost-free license, this cutting-edge Digital Hospitality System and Equipment software from Vallinno Systems Ltd bridges the gap between classroom theory and practical hotel/lodge operations.
BioduxPMS is now fully installed and operational across 25 computer workstations in the University training lab, creating a live simulated hotel environment for our students.
A cross section of faculty and technical team completed an intensive, 5-day Training of Trainers programme hosted at the University of Embu. Mmara-U now boasts certified institutional trainers equipped to teach modules across: Front Office and Reservations, Housekeeping Operations, Food and Beverage (F&B) Management, Point of Sale (POS) Systems and Business Intelligence and Revenue Management
