Maasai Mara University Hosts Institutions for Student Service Outreach
Maasai Mara University hosted a multi-agency outreach program bringing essential services closer to students and the larger university community. Among the institutions present were Light Shepherd Hospital, Huduma Centre– Narok Branch, and the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC).
Light Shepherd Hospital partnered with the university to offer free medical services,
including general check-ups and consultations, promoting preventive healthcare among
students. Huduma Centre provided various government services, enabling students to access
essential documentation and assistance conveniently within the campus.
Meanwhile, the IEBC conducted continuous voter registration in preparation for the 2027
General Elections, encouraging eligible students to register and participate in the democratic process. The initiative reflects the university’s commitment to supporting student welfare, civic engagement, and institutional collaboration.
