Dr. Menge Dominic is a highly creative and motivated molecular plant pathophysiologist involved in the study of the changes taking place in plants body due to diseases. The physical, biochemical and mechanical changes in the normal functioning of plants are some areas of concentration. The studies involve studying how diseases operate in plants bodies and recommendation of proper treatment. Areas of research include using cutting edge technology to develop plants with improved tolerance to biotic stress. Dr. Menge is equipped with plant physiology and biochemistry techniques and working knowledge of molecular biology methods used to dissect the modes of action of disease resistance in plants. Dr. Menge’s roles include oversight of other researchers and students, in addition to being embedded in a larger multi-disciplinary cross-functional research team developing crop production systems.  Dr. Menge’s has experience working in a matrixed environment, with proven project management experience and excellent communication skills. Leadership ability, initiative, and sound judgment, the ability to prioritize under pressure and adapt to changing demands, and the ability to make rapid progress against goals despite tight timelines are critical skills.
