Clemson has graduate students from Rwanda, Tanzania in the department of parks, recreation and tourism management. An online master's degree in parks, recreation and tourism management will target East African students.

Establishment of a road safety institute
CU- IGRSS (Clemson University - Institute for Global Road Safety and Security) and K-IGRSS (Kenyan - Institute for Global Road Safety and Security) will collaborate together with faculty in their respective curriculum and instruction departments, and with interdisciplinary CU-IGRISS to develop three program areas as:
      Road safety programs
      Road behavior
      Road safety management: including curriculum for interdisciplinary road safety management including education, engineering, enforcement, and emergency management services. Road safety curriculum that can be implemented in primary schools in Kenya. Curriculum and research agenda for road user behavior.
      college alcohol prevention program
The program was designed and implemented to prevent or reduce the negative consequences of substance abuse and addictions with an emphasis on preventing driving under the influence of alcohol.

Establishment of a French Language Institute/ centre Maasai Mara University is currently teaching French language to students undertaking tourism, arts and hospitality courses.
