The Department of Languages, Literature, and Culture is one of the three departments in the School of Arts and Social Sciences of Maasai Mara University. The department trains graduates in the fields of communication, languages, linguistics, literature, theatre, and film. The mission here is to train graduates for job creation and employment in the Bachelor of Arts courses offered by the department. The department also services the School of Education by teaching the English, Literature, Kiswahili and French subjects. French is also offered to students in the School of Tourism and Hospitality.
